The ground I face
You lied to me without a trace
My heart bleeds and aches with pain
We've lost more than you could ever gain
How could you make me feel like this?
Lie to my face and then give me a kiss?
I love you more than you'll ever know
I can forgive, but never let go
You make the world believe you're right?
But sin, lust and greed have damaged your sight
You can't see the pain I feel
I'm not sure how I can deal
A bulett? Pills? Perhaps a knife?
To kill off all you pain and strife?
I don't deserve this betrayal and lies
My life- rock bottom- tears and lonely cries.

Welcome to YPDC. This is a great site and a lovely lot of people. The poem is good. I will make the statement that true love does not hurt like that, so maybe it is time to hold your tears, chin up, and move on with life.

Great job! That was great for your first posted piece. A wonderful opening piece.
