moon in the sky
floating over you
floating over me
my love
where are you?
i don't know you
you don't know me
but here we are
under the same sky
thinking the same things
feeling the same things
wanting the same things
but we're not in the same place
seperated by a distance
as wide as our ignorance
will we ever be enlightened?
will we ever be excited
to see each others faces?
will we even know to stop
and take the time
to say hello and start
an everlasting friendship?
we can only hope
that what the say in songs is right
love will find a way
and we will be alright
i know you're out there
tonight

Hmmm, I can't believe I missed this poem. Must have been when I was offline. I can't understand why no one else has commented. I believe in universal karma and that someway the universe will bring two lovers meant for each other together. With the sun and the moon and the stars, you already have things in common. You love will come. Be patient. Great work here.
