Array ( [sid] => 10107 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => Ken [time] => 2003-01-10 04:00:00 [hometext] => ken is my favourite person... i love him so much as a friend but i was always to shy to tell... now he is leaving to america and i may never see him again... this is for him and all the things i never got to say [bodytext] => i remember when i first met you
i was a scared and shy little girl
i had friends but i was afraid
to share with them my world
you taught me how to open up
put a smile upon my face
you showed me how to stick up for myself
and put bullies in their place
we went through school together
and were in the same house there
we were each others company
we told stories and always shared
you knew something was wrong with me
you knew that something was not right
i felt that when i talked to you
it wasnt such a hard fight
you never knew what went on
and you knew not to ask
because i was to scared to tell
to remove my sad mask
but you kept me going through each day
you made me smile and forget
all the horrors that were waiting for me
at home my match was met
it was you who stopped me losing it
and gave me the strength to see
that i was not alone
that you'd be there for me
now you are leaving
i will miss you true
i just wish i was strong enough
to tell you how much i love you. [comments] => 1 [counter] => 174 [topic] => 2 [informant] => Eloise [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 6 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => LovePoetry )

He sounds like an excellent friend. I am jealous. Shame he had to leave, though!! I hope you can still keep in touch with each other. This sounds like a friendship one would not want to lose....
