Array ( [sid] => 100980 [catid] => 1 [aid] => mick [title] => European Tour [time] => 2005-07-12 15:03:58 [hometext] => About the best time of my life! I'm writing this to give to my friends from the tour...please tell me what you think! [bodytext] => Got on the bus as strangers
And got off it best of friends.
We learnt about eachother
From beginning to the end.

Spent the first day on the coach
Just listening to Lou.
She explained to us bout all the rules
And told us what to do.

That first night was a bit strange
In creepy Amsterdam.
We filed down the dim dark streets
Being wary of the scams.

Cheese we ate the next day,
And clogs we watched being made.
We ate a seafood dinner
And on a boat we played.

St Goar was where we really met
And really hit it off,
We partied hard for all that night.
Poor Adam had a cough.

On mountain tops in Switzerland
The Saffa boys stood out.
Corns and Robbie had a dance,
Had lots of fun no doubt.

In Innsbrook we ate sacha torte
Which wasn't all that special,
And drank a lot of proper schnapps
Which made Dougie go mental!

Romantic gondolas were the go
In wet and smelly Venice.
Venetian men played instruments,
Penite was their apprentice.

In Italy we saw the sights,
But what stands out in Rome,
Is huddling in the freezing cold
For a bus that’d take us home.

The licking of Gelati and
Walking made us thirsty.
Shopping was so happily done
By Kirsh and Pip and Kirsty.

Florence was that crazy place
Where Chantel got with Mickey,
And William could have ended up
With more than just a hickey!

Nice was next and nice it was -
The water was so blue.
In Monaco the sexy cars
Had the boys in such a stew.

Pringle eating was such fun
On many of our road trips.
A game was made; of course Matt won
He could do so many chip flips!

In Leon we ate yummy food
Ordered by the chefs,
Frogs and snails and such weird things.
The food was just the best.

Eiffel Tower and all the rest
Was French order of the day,
But poor old Pippy was quite ill
And had to stay away.

Down the Champs Elysees we strolled
And Adam bought a shirt.
Chan and Matt they power walked -
Matt won with a spurt.

In Paris we were quite sad
Cause the end was really near.
We were dancing bout at Moulin Rouge
When Dane kissed Matt quite clear!

London bound and we got stopped
At the border crossing gate.
Hacky Sack was played by boys
As we endured that long wait.

Arriving back we sipped our drinks
With oh such woeful face,
And wished to God we were back there
In that Europe place.

The best time of my life it was -
I’d do it again too,
If the people I could tour with
Were definitely all of you.
