I do not know where you are
You are the unknown, the mystery
You are the one my heart longs for
A woman with my own tastes
A soul with my own needings
Waiting some where obscure
Hoping some day we will meet

The lonely nights are common to us
The longing the same for both of us
With hopes and dreams you wait
With hopes and dreams I search
The waiting I know is painful
The searching you know is tiring
Yet you wait patiently and I search relentlessly
Hoping some day we will meet

We are total strangers to each other
Yet our souls long for one another
We do not know the colour of our skin
We do not know the colour of our eyes
We do not know the colour of our hair
All we know is our hearts, which we see
From far away, how far neither knows
Hoping some day we will meet

This is my first poem for you
The one meant to let you know
That I do know that you are waiting
And to let you know I am searching
To assure you that where ever you are
I will keep on searching till I find you
So our dreams may come true
And we unite as one in body and soul
