Was it human or machine?
Why to the left and not the right?
Did they make it home that night?
So many questions go unanswered
Like undecipherable symbols
Soon the parchment, as well the story, will be forgotten
And in the end all that matters is the road that carries on
Remembering those bygone, be gone, forgone, and traveling soon at dawn.

Every tire mark on this road tells a story
A tale is told of hesitance or evasiveness
Or compassion for an animal, small and weak

wow. i really loved this is. it was written really well and i loved the whole idea of it and ive actually thought of this before but never so deeply. loved it. very thought provoaking.
