Does God Have Call Waiting?
July 10, 2005

I have been trying to reach Him since Tuesday,
But the office angel that takes His calls,
Knows my voice and keeps on saying,
Our Father is busy, just keep calling and praying.
I have memorized the recorded greeting,
Explaining the best times to speak with the Lord.
"Between the hours of eight and six,
Or if it is urgent then please record,
A message after the tone."
I have left eight messages and now hang up the phone,
Why isn't God responding to me?
Is there a time difference in Heaven?
Two hours ahead or three behind,
Perhaps that is why I am leaving message number nine?
Does God have call waiting so He can receive,
All of the thoughts that we're trying to leave?

As odd as this will sound (likely) late last night I lay awake and pondered something so similiar to this. Unfortunately I couldn't have expressed it so clearly.

I dunno if he has call waiting but, if he does--then to whom does he choose to answer the beep?

I also liked your thoughts about the time difference. My question is if infinity is the clock that doesn't mark time---does time go there or does it simply stay where it is meant to be? I dunno, but is there really such a thing as time? When measured in terms of unending....................................

I liked this one and ALOT!

Kie
