exploited time and ignorance
with no needs and in no hurry
to make use of their brilliant faculties,
nor the knowledge of consciousness.

Men fraught, with vacant eyes
like summer nights - red and black..
steel studded with Gold Stars..
their faces distorted,
cruel and ablaze.

Some are young-
endowed with terrifying voices
and dangerous resources..
sent up.. cursing the World,
tricked out with nauseating luxury;

seeking some violent paradise
under a ferocious grimace!
Dressed.. improvised costumes-
like something out of a bad dream,
they enact Heroic Romances.

Brigades of demigods and demons...
more spirited than any history
or religion has ever been.

Morning makes them sick!
Faces reddened by pain..
quivering.. sunburst flesh-
wounds of black and scarlet..
dancing 'round the vision.

Hurling on Mother Beauty..
She recoils and rears up.. but is taken.
Slice claws and razor flesh
Bones crushed in gleaming fangs, murdered..
by The Leaders Of It All!

very strong feelings here.

a subtle summation..yet not so subtle that your message wasn't clear. brilliant.

the sixth stanza was great:

'Morning makes them sick!
Faces reddened by pain..
quivering.. sunburst flesh-
wounds of black and scarlet..
dancing 'round the vision.'

an excellent post bro.

The rawness of the truth is almost overpowering. Leaving a quivering fear of 'what if and probably so'. Excellent.
