I live on
and how it used to be
untouched and free
wild animals were able to
move about without the
rude interference of
humanity

I was contemplating about this land
and how the Indians
were here first
they respected the land
cared for
and loved our
mother earth

Native Americans lived one
with the earth
treated animals as their
fellow brothers
used plants to nourish and heal
took only what they needed
from her
and no other.
