When I called you house,
And I began to cry.
The phone rang all night,
Was I to late to save your life?

I ran out of my house,
And got into my car,
It was almost out of gas,
I knew I wouldn't get far.
I drove fast,
Wondering if you were still alive.

The car stops,
It's out of gas.
Your house is still far,
So I run fast.
I leave my car,
And start to pray,
That you will see another day.

I stop on front lawn,
My heart skips a beat,
Then starts to pound hard.
Tears race eachother down my face,
Then hit the floor,
Where they leave their mark.

I rush in your house,
And climb up the stairs.
I see your room door,
It seems to far.

I turn the knob,
But the door is locked.
I ram the door with all my stregth,
The tears flow faster down my face.
The door bursts open,
And I tumble in.

I see you on the floor,
The moonlight makes you look,
Pale yet blue.
I see pills by your side.

I pick you up and hold you close,
Hoping that, you, Heaven may restore,
And bring back life.
My tears fall on your face,
And leave a trace,
Of the pain and sorrow I feel,
On your very last day.

I put you down and call an ambulance,
I ask the doctor if you will live.
And with one sad look,
I understood.
That you were gone,
The girl I loved for so long.

You did your best within those seconds, I pray you are well. I will pray for you with my beating heart. I know that heartbeat too well. I pray the girl you loved for so long was saved... I understand no one can save a soul after it has passed on. I pray you are saved, hugs from me, raquelLeah..
