[hometext] => This is one of my anti-war poems.
[bodytext] => War, it’s what will destroy our nation. Why wage war when all we’re looking for is salvation? Corruption, This world has become too corrupt. What do we need a war for? I’d ask the president, “What is this war really for? Why didn’t you vote against war? Why didn’t you vote against lies? But in this world, why is it such a surprise? I’m not trying to make this offending, But what the hell are you really defending? Cause freedom isn’t really freedom anymore. So what is this war for? Are you out for revenge? But what will it do? It’ll solve nothing at all. You’re too corrupt, in this corrupt place. Yet you seem so innocent with that mask hiding your face. If I could, I tear away from this corrupt world and make a better place. Why can’t we make a place here? Cause I don’t want to live my life in fear, And in my own pool of tears. So instead of war, why not build a better a world. A place that we can truly call home.
