My little one had a fright,
He said,"MOM!" off I went,
Oh oooh what a prediciment,

Well, the dogs looked amazed,
And the Critter really quite hazed,
"Awwwwww.. he came here to die,"
My son said, I agreed w/ sad sigh,

What a poor dear mauled sight!
We marched in for flashlights..
We turned on the flashlights,
We very carefully peered,
Even closer we did near,
We thought him dead and
that us he couldn't hear,

With him there was Nothing wrong
'Twas just the wind his fur did song!
Critter jumped up and off he ran,
(Laughing) as my boy 'jumped in vain,
Mystery solved but where did he go?
Under the house don't ya just know!

Now he's over by the Mulberry Tree,
So, we shall see what next is to be,

St. Bernard Rose had to have at him,
Just a little Sniff if you please, Oh Please!
Only one thing left to do,
I will shortly be back with You,

My son is crying "Please don't go!
He'll bite you Mommy don't You Know!"
I'm surely not ever afraid of Wildlife,
Poor thing was only doing this in strife,
Oh, he's a possum-plays sleep factor,
He played his part well as an actor,

Really he was just so adorable,
Not at all the hell and horrible,
Just was scared and wanted freedom,
So while he hissed, I did; I freed him.
