[bodytext] => How can I be myself? I don't know who I am. How can I believe in life? I don't know where I stand. Endless wandering... Forever wondering... Don't know who or what I am. Ceaseless craving... Constant raving... Don't want to be what I have been. If I could look through your eyes How would I appear? If I could use your ears to listen what else could I hear? Restless dreaming... Mental screaming... Can't seem to handle the pain of today. Death - rehearsal... Life reversal... Seeing the anguish in a whole new way. If I could read between my lines, I wonder what I'd learn. How can I ever find peace using fire to soothe the burn? © Barry Veinotte [comments] => 1 [counter] => 209 [topic] => 13 [informant] => LabWolf [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )
