A minute to the end
What meaning is there in sight
Could a family or a friend help me in this fight?

I am not suicidal
But have a gift from an unknown source
I hope my words can help you
And bring you down off your horse

A horse you have been riding
Alone for so long
Searching for some feelings
That fit to every song

So many lonely people
Find it hard to cope with life each day
To all you lonely people
I have a few words I’d like to say

I was once a lonely person
Wearing the same shoes perhaps as you
Thankful I didn’t end my life
Giving the devil his due

I see now
There is for so much to live
Having a family and a friend
They have so much to give

Friends bring me laughter
My family brings joy to my heart
I really am thankful
From this world I did not part

Just giving time a chance
Holding on to this fight
The loneliness will go away
True pleasures will soon be in sight

You may not know me
But I am your friend too
That’s why I want
To share my words with you

Please climb off that horse
The one you ride in your fight
Give life another chance
You will see I am right

Great poem. I love your advice for everyone. I tried to commit suicide 7 times and i'm so glad it never worked. I have an amazing boyfriend, friends, and family. Great words of wisdom

I like a lot of your poems, you are right I can relate to them and learn from them. I hope one day i will be able to write a poem about overcoming these feelings too
