Never looking out the window
To see the passing days

Time doesn't stop for those
Too afraid to look

When you finally stop to see
Theres no one you know
Everyone went their own way

Sam moved away
No ones heard much from her

Jess went to college
She's going to be a singer

Dom got married
He reads the story
About the lonely faery
That you told him
Everynight to his daughter in bed

Kristen didn't make it..
Her soul delivered to the Summerlands
Two years ago

All the while you slept
Now as you walk to her grave
The tears start to fall
Like glittering raindrops
Sliding to the world below

Where did the years go?
When did we grow old enough to drive?
Why didn't I say goodbye?

Time whisked you away
On a midnight train
Driving through foggy land
Now theres no turning back

Make the best of your time
Before a heart so big
Realized it never got

i may be wrong, but from this i'm guessing that you're in your late teens, or early twenty's... am i right...?

i'm 15... and this has really touched me ... as this this is a very sad poem...
and thinking about what you've written about your friend 'Kristen' is sad too.
did she kill herself? (if you don't mind me asking)...
... last summer, i had a friend kill her-self through suicide...

any ways... this is good stuff. emotionally sadening... but good...

i hope to see some happier things from you...!

=)

your writing here is Great, i love the descriptions and the way you say what everyone has done with thier life until we get to Kristen and see the point of your story. Now that death seems so close you realize how important it is to live life. awesome job you did here, and im so sorry for your loss.

This was a very moving piece!

So sadly beautiful, I can very much relate to ur sentiments of time. You look away for one second and all the happy times are gone.

Ur poem struck the heart.
