Her halo sharded to pieces
As her innocence was shattered
The devil's brewed curse
Left this Angel frail and battered
The Angel's wings broke
They scattered to the floor
Man's evil sexual desires
Bore at her core
The aura that made her glow
Forever fades from her face
As the tears of this Angel
Leave a bloodied trace
For this battered and bruised Angel
She's lost all hope
All her strength gone
She cannot cope
On bended knees she falls everynight
She prays to God to hear her plight
This Angel's tears they forever fall
Since man's desire devoured her all...

Wow, this was awesome.
Held me along all the way through, eager to learn what happened to the angel etc.
It flows almost perfectly, and I love the ending, very powerful.
Whenever you need someone to talk to, just know where I am :)

Awesome work Dreamer, the entire thing has a very powerful feel and appeal to it, amazing write..oh and i seen one mistake, that i hope you dont mind me pointing out...i think, Bended, should be changed to bent..but just a suggestion, anyways, awesome work again and hope to read from you again soon.

Wow... this is a very good but sad write as well. I am telling you... I was really pulled into this poem. This is also really sad because it is true. Man really do destroy people and things in a countless number of ways. This is one of the most depressing ways. Great poem... it was a flowing write and was written so well...

Poor little Angel has already been forgiven by her Loving Heavenly Father who forgives in a great big Way, but she must now forgive herselt!

hang on, hang on..I am getting it.. I will find it..
Ok, you can open your eyes now..
Look deeply at these two lines..
On bended knees she falls everynight
She prays to God to hear her plight
Please keep doing that, over and over.. if you have to stay down on those knees, if you have to ask and ask over and over and over.. until you get the answer..
The LORD always hear us.. He hears us all now.. He answers us right away.. but His time and our time is different.. so sometimes it just takes a little bit longer before you feel your prayer was answered.. and it was.. the moment you asked, it is granted..
But also, even though they are answered, doesnt mean we will like the answer we get..
Wonderful write.. I love it.. very moving.. makes my heart pound.. don't stop writing now.. that would be too much of a waste.. you have a wonderful way of putting those words down on paper so we can hear your heart.
Please don't cry sweetheart. everything will be ok.. trust God..
Remember, I love you and Jesus loves you and don't you forget it..
As I have said many times.. there are no strangers in this world to me, we are all brothers and sisters..

| My interpretation of this is that this 'angel' was raped by the 'devil'. If so, this poem sheds an interesting, yet true light on the subject. A couple of people close to me have been raped and it does seem like 'the aura that made them glow forever fades from their faces.' A beautiful, yet horrifying write. I feel for you if my interpretation was right. |

The sadness in this one broke me. It amazes me that we, as humans, are capable of killing the hearts and souls of our fellow creature. What animals we are.
I pray the Angel finds the hope she searches for.
