I let the anger take over.
It turned me into a killer.
The rage just flew out of me
from the bottom of my soul.
I just had no control.
I beat the life out of this creature
with a solid steel hammer.
I cut off it’s wings and smashed
them to smithereens.
The anger took me further.
I was in a tornado of rage.
I put the blasted creature,
dead, in a cage.
I looked at it and laughed,
a laugh I didn’t know I had.
I started to believe I had finally gone mad.
Soon my anger turned to sorrow.
I wished I had never done what I did.
I wanted to turn the clock back to tomorrow
and undo every evil thing I did.
I sat on the floor.
Torn in two. As I sat there, I said a word or two,
“My dearest Bob, I didn’t know you long.
I never even gave you a chance.
And now I sit here with your guts all over my pants.
I’m sorry, but forgiveness will not be mine,
for you have died,
and now to me, the sun will never shine.
Oh, Bob! (Cries) Please forgive me for
my sins. I wish for you to see the sun again.
I long for you to buzz in my ear.
I want you, once more, to be here.
You can share my home. What’s mine is yours.
But. . .(cries more) it’s too late.
You are dead. But the memories of you will not
fade behind closed doors.
Come Fly Lord, and avenge the death of Bob.
I will not be at peace, until I know
that of you, your life I had not robbed. . .
Oh, Bob!

Well Kortnie, this is a wacky, sad, really funny poem. It may interest you to know that only today, my attention was drawn to something large in the sky. Now, I thought initially, that it was an aircraft of sorts. However, on closer inspection, it turned out to be a giant BLUEBOTTLE ! Oh dear. Ho hum !!! Now I don't know where you are on this planet, but it was heading West !
