Array ( [sid] => 10017 [catid] => 1 [aid] => Mick [title] => The Spot [time] => 2003-01-08 22:00:00 [hometext] => Another older poem. I had started healing from old wounds, then came back home for winter break last year and it all fell apart again. [bodytext] => theres a spot by the door
theres a dent in the wall
and my stereo there
i could not control how
things just flooded once i saw
that corner where i hid so many times
where i had cried
where things fell apart and I’d died
where the anger came out
and i wanted to scream
WHY??
where i would compose my own
little pity symphony of
my own dark music
the confused sobs
the dent in the wall
where i hated myself
so pathetic i can’t even cry when it hurts
i left that spot
i didn’t need it either
i was better but when i return
why do i still crawl there? [comments] => 3 [counter] => 172 [topic] => 13 [informant] => AzurePaladin [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 10 [ratings] => 2 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => DarkPoetry )

...the past can be hard to get over all the darkness all the hurt and anger. But the past is the past the events have passed, but the memories remain in the back of your mind. In this I am reminded of something I once wrote during one of my more thoughtful moments late at night: "It all comes crashing down and continuously rebuilt until the pieces are no longer solid and it can never be as it was, but the possibilities become more numerous the less rigid the pieces become" It is on my Acid Planet profile and I stand by that principal. Through the bad times in our lives we can learn change to be strong. It's no use to blame yourself, you did all you could, dont ever think otherwise. Blame solves nothing either even in revenge, once the deed is done you still feel guilty. I'm no master of consolation, no master of musical composition, no master of writing, no master of sympathy, but I try. I felt I should write something meaningful because feedback is important it shows that people care and I can deeply say that I do.
