Once in other hands,
now mine
fingers tracing lightly
your spine
and to the right touch,
so fine.

Your jacket falls away,
leaving much on display!
so many words to describe
and imaginings to imbibe,
for this is our day, and
I will have my way…

Some think this absurd,
but you speak with words
that touch my soul,
that make me whole.

Some pages, unread,
skipped clumsily, instead
your phrases, divine
all secrets, in time
another once held you,
but now, you’re mine.
