When life gets crazy
and nothing makes sense
When the winds of dissolution
howl at my door
When the night's too dark
and the moon doesn't hang as high
When the stars are hidden
and the sky is black
When I feel I can't go on
and the icy fingers of defeat
creep along my skin
I THINK OF YOU
Then ...
A warmth enfolds me
I smile inside and out
and I pick myself up
dust my pants off
hold my head high
and I look the world in the eye
For you, my friend,
are my inspiration
my salvation
my strength
I LOVE YOU SO!
