Written 7/11/2009 Late getting posted
Seems like it was just yesterday
She went around singing songs,
Strait from heaven, a happy little girl.
She's tuff, she's gentle, yet strong.
She's beautiful, She's a lady.
Push her she'll get funky or mean.
Look out world , here she comes.
Hey every one, my Jessie's 17.
She can hold her own, survive.
When you're sad she'll cheer you.
Her heart's luving, sweet, kind.
Such a smart little lady, oh it's true.
Mammaw's proud you're in our world.
She know's how to bring a smile.
Happy, happy birthday our little lady.
For you I'd walk a country mile.
Always luv,
yomammaw

I'm sure those 17 years have gone so fast.....yet still the start of a long journey of life.

was able to handle the challenges
thrown at us by the world. But most
17 year olds today are mush brained
and wouldn't know what to do or how
to survive on their own if the power
went out. LOL! But you describe a teen
who has her act together, just like Gramma!
Blessings,
