Good bye my love, I hate you

Contributed by Rakerman1999 on Sunday, July 19 2009 @ 01:45:57 AEST
Topic: Lost Love Poetry

In the event of my demise
Should fate see fit to close my eyes
Should time and turmoil steal my breath
And I be touched by peaceful death
If this, by chance, would be my end
Would I be counted as a friend
Or just a man you knew one time
Who left his soul within his rhyme

Perhaps, by passing, I would see
Some hint that you remember me
A little sign, a subtle clue
To justify my love for you
But hints are simply not your way
and signs were never your forte'
A fast good bye the only clue
To one who'd give his life for you

Or am I doomed to never find
That special place inside your mind
Some spot you frequent in the night
A corner hidden from the light
Where I am once again your king...

It honestly won't mean a thing

Nor will the hurtful words you said
Because, you *****, I'll just be dead

Very, very sad but well written.
I hope you feel better now.
Hang tuff, my friend.
big huggs, blessings,
emy
I remember feelings like this in my past but that don't change any thing or ease the pain.
Take care.

No one wields words like the Master, be they blades or bouquets. Fair dripping with anger and self pity, one to each fang.

hope you didn't cut yourself too bad, but it sure was a treat for the reader.

Spike

Larry dear, I'm 72 and old and wrinkled more than few............but I will remember you!
A poet that no one can duplicate, not with words, nor passion, nor loving words.
I hope you take this young lady's memories and burying them among your frequented dog t==ds!
Just loved it Larry,
and since I'm so sensitive......I plant violets
neath your comely feet!
Warm love
consue
