Last Night

Topic: Love or Romantic Poetry



I saw you in my dreams, last night
how would you feel about that?
I hugged, but never kissed you
in my dreams, last night
What if I told you this?
I slept with, but never messed with you
in my dreams, last night
does that even make sense?
I talked, but never screamed at you
in my dreams, last night
is this maybe because we're friends?
You know, you actually called me,
last night
Is it bad that I was surprised?
I really wished I could look in your eyes,
last night
because they always did seem so bright
I wrote another poem for you,
this morning
I suppose I'll call it "For a Friend."
