Ashes

I bathed in ashes this morning.
Waiting for something that I knew wouldn't come.
My skin blackened and turned slightly gray.
When there are too many coincidences,
And too many predictions,
The question why, doesn't seem right anymore.
There was a silence about the area,
That told me I was alone.
Still
Covered,
I only had myself.
We are not joined.
We are not one.
We are one of ourselves.
That is it

Re: Ashes (User Rating: 1) by Former_Member on Wednesday, May 03 2006 @ 21:29:53 AEST (User Info | Send a Message) | wow some kind of cover up...
ashes to ashes here we go
living life now, and hope to know
we cover ourselves all in grey here
we have great honors in heaven,
on earth, it is just a smear...
