What To Do
There are so many games to play using
balloons and children of all ages love them. They can help with your child's
coordination, and can help teach our young ones simple ball handling skills.
Here are just a few suggestions of what to play...
Put up a string
between to pieces of furniture and play "volleyball" over it with the
balloon.
Firstly with hands, see who can keep the balloon in the air
the longest without it touching the ground, once good at this, use your feet
only, it is much harder to keep it off the ground this way.
Remember
those cardboard boxes, make a balloon target from one, and see how many times
you can get the balloon into the box.
With the marking pens, draw
each others faces onto the balloons, see what you look like to your
children!!
Hot Day, no problem, water balloons are the go!
I'm
sure there are many other ways you can think of to play with balloons too, if
not, ask the youngsters:-)
Helpful hints...
When playing with balloons, try to move as
much furniture out of the way as possible, giving more room to move and less
objects to bump into.
If using balloons outdoors, watch the
grass...and loud bangs:-)
Birthdays are fun, you blow up about 40 or
so balloons and hide their presents in amongst them in their room, starts the
party off with a bang!!
Now, go and enjoy your quality time with the children.
