I won’t keep you in the distance
Rather at home with me
Safe and sound
Where the fireplace of summer
And a candle light dinner
Warms the increasingly low temperatures
And raises the raging pulse
A razor sharp image
Right there in front
Close enough to touch
I won’t keep you too far
In a sacred memory
Kept in my personal space
For all to witness
Is the answer of me
