You Love Dr.Jekyll

You loved me,
We dotted the I & crossed the tee,
But when half of me decides to come out,
It shakes you up & fills you with doubt.

For you my love I have done so much,
I have declined the sweet reapers touch,
I tried to stay far away from heartache or pain,
But I still find myself inside hurts terrain.

You love my Dr. Jekyll but hate Mr. Hyde,
When he comes out it’s as if you have died,
Two people trapped inside a damaged soul,
One without the other can never feel whole.

When one is trapped the other escapes,
The evilness of it inflicts multiple rapes,
Not just on the body but also on the mind,
The last thing it will do is perform something kind.

Love or compassion is to Mr. Hyde an unknown,
Only pure hatred is inside him full grown,
Anger & rage is what Mr. Hyde’s driven by,
He is the one that makes Dr. Jekyll want to die.

Love & hate opposite sides of the coin,
Only together can they both seem to join,
Apart they are lost, not together in this land,
Only do both personalities go together hand in hand.

I can not get rid of one without the other,
As to my good twin comes with an evil brother,
One who is fuelled by anger & booze,
One who does nothing but destroy & abuse.
