“Belief in my Fate” - by J. Samuelson Copyright©2001 01/15
I turned off every single light
Then slammed and locked the door
I don’t want anyone to see me
I don’t want advice anymore.
They try but yet they can’t
Not one thing they can do
I have to live with my mistakes
The ones I made with you.
I wish I could just runaway
Just leave and never be found
Cause all I do is think of you
With every sight and sound.
Can’t get you out of my view
I don’t want to, I won’t try
I need to keep my dream alive
Without it I could die.
Why can’t you all leave me alone
I made this bed where I lie
It’s my fault it’s all broken
Just let me be here to cry.
I know you want to help me
I thank you for trying to
The only left you can do now
Is leave me to try to pull through.
I just need time to myself
The only way it can be
Suffering in my own silence
I have nothing to say to me.
I know what has happened
And now it might be too late
The only thing left for me
Is the Belief in my Fate.
If it’s meant for my life
To have you forgive me
To give me one more chance
To be all I should be.
I’m down on my knees praying
That it’s really not too late
The only thing left in me
Is the Belief in my Fate.
I’m going to love you ‘till I die
If it takes that long to wait
That’s all I have to live for
This Belief in my Fate.
I don’t want a life without out you
Please, don’t make me wait
You’re all I have to live for
Please Believe in our Fate.
