The crystal ball room

Reflections across the glass,
Dancing into the arms of my dreams,
Waltzing to the notes of desire,
Images of a lifetime,
Fleet across my eyes,
Time is my teacher,
My secret shaman,
That taught me well,
And taught me fast,
To take all from life,
Take all I can,
Expecting God to make you pay for it,
Don’t count on it,
On all the good luck that comes your way,
It’s like floating stardust,
That will fade away,
And the glass will break,
And you shall wake,
From this silly dream,
Into a corner of this crystal ball room.
