Don't Fear The Reaper

Please don’t fear the reaper,
As he is the after life’s keeper,
He is there to carry us to the other side,
If you see him he won’t let you run & hide.

Once he has you in his grasp,
Is there anything you dare to ask?
Or are your words stuck in your throat,
As you begin to see many of his ghosts.

There are many who has tried to escape,
But over your soul his scythe scrapes,
His bony fingers slip around your spine,
On your very flesh he is set to dine.

The reaper dances inside my head,
At night he welcomes me to his bed,
I used to be afraid but not anymore,
Not since the reaper made me his whore.

His touch sends shivers all over me,
His caress is erotic, but won’t set me free,
Forever I am his dark, soulless slave,
At the end he will welcome me into my grave.
