Those few words we share on the phone
Those never ending words
Throughout the midnight make me shine
Echo till after dawn

Those words, those never ending words
Inside resound so well
For after dawn they make me smile
With reason well and good

Can't be misheard and yet so quiet
That no one else can reach
out to hear them murmur for they
Live for me, inside me

For if I wouldn't have been here
Neither would have been these
Lost somewhere in non-existance
Would have I died in loss?

For they repeat and they repeat
Everytime that I think
And none around never know when
I look at them and blink

They make it so simple when I
Miss you, you lack with me
For I can close my eyes and hear
And I just have to think

I cry, I die 'cause everyday
Is lonely like a mess
But those words, those never ending
Help me to breathe in wait
