Twelve Nepalese killed on video by Iraqi terrorists
Twelve Nepalese workers kidnapped by Islamist extremists were murdered on video yesterday in the biggest mass killing of hostages in Iraq since Saddam Hussein was toppled.
--O/--
Now we see simple ugly hate
Depravity and pointless death
No good will be gained from such acts
By taking vital breath
Violence begets violence
Hate only begets more hate
in a cycle without hope
As the time grows so late
No good will come from arrogance
No good will come from fear
No spark of hope will ever grow
While such men rule here
it's time to move on and up
Away from men of hate
In us all there is the deepest need
To avoid this darkest fate
No more ruthless killing
In arrogance and cold blood
No more poor tortured souls
Shedding innocent tears in flood
This is the darkest nightmare
The endless cycle of death
The goal must surely be peace
With each and every breath
Killing the innocents can never be right
And war the very last step
All sides must see life as light
Or into hell we'll trip
A pitch black night of the soul
Suddenly opens wide
A nightmare now has begun
We must not sleepwalk inside
Too much killing has gone on
Too many with hearts of ice
We must now build a BETTER world
Not based on Devil's Dice
Step back now all you men of war
You arrogant and hateful ones
Your time is over to bring us pain
With your butchery and guns
The darkness must give way
And let our souls be free
No more hate or killing
This must be our plea
