Dust Laces My Piano
Date: Friday, 1st November 2002 @ 09:10:00 AM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry

As night drapes a veil of sleep
Over a town where sweetdreams creep,
I lie here awake afraid to touch,
The voicebox of pain,
I once loved so much.
The piano, now dorment,
Iced over wih dust,
Reminds me of nights
When we explored our lust.
The pieces you played
Before I fell asleep,
Made playing my piano,
A joy too hard to keep.
