You write me the part of a fool
And you get the part of an angel
I know it isn't fair
But I'm not one to complain
I have my demons under control
And the biggest dragon has been slain
But every time I listen to you it's lies
All of them.
From when the time I walked your dog and you said she ran away
And the time when we were young and about what your elders say.
Why do you do this?!?
All the time!
I get used to sweet old you
When you bring me flowers and roses
Then you leave me in the fog
Maybe I should play hide and seek
Let me go and hide
