Widows tears

Do you see her silently sitting there?
Her head in her hands to catch the tears,
Each new drop a plea for the pain of loss to end,
Scintillating with the love of a life now spent.
While the ghost of her beloved watches her weep from afar,
Lightly whispering his love to her through the breeze,
To bring his song to the ear that listens for his voice,
His ghost tears as real as those that stream down her cheeks.
Watch the liquid grey that lines her eyes,
As she looks back at all the yesterdays, the perfect times...
While wishing he would still be here for the tomorrows,
Unsure if she can survive, without him, with this sorrow.
Someone please steal these widows tears.....
Her shadowed face the definition of grief,
Red raw with the painful slap of anguish,
Soothed with tears that caress the hurt from her cheeks,
Let this frail shell of loneliness, be free in Solitude and peace.
Someone please steal these widows tears.....
Before she throws them away.
