Darn mobile phones
Not exactly what I call "mobile"
When they can't up and run to me yelling
"hey stupid...you deaf?"

I pass the waiting hours with a load of chores
Up to my lily white in cleaning
Missing that homely voice of yours

Country pours from the radio,I sway
Lost in what my tears create
Wishing you were here today

Rebel strands of hair fall loose and out of place
I sigh for the miles between
Then brush them from my face

Sunlight filters through the curtained pane
Maybe a morning kiss from you?
This only serves to send me more insane

Immobilised,I'm as useless
As this so called mobile phone
Darling if you're dialling now
Please hang up and just come home [comments] => 3 [counter] => 178 [topic] => 43 [informant] => LovingWhispers [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 4 [ratings] => 1 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => oops ) Your Poetry Dot Com - Useless
