Topic: Sad Poetry

Contributed By: Clarity

In your hands I feel
The passion of a tempestuous desert wind;
In your eyes I see
The electricity of the perfect thunderstorm;
In your arms I feel
The strength of the ancient redwood;
In your laughter I hear
The trilling of the morning lark;
And in your heart I feel
The tremors of water falling against the eroding cliffs.

In your caress I feel
The innocence of a gentle summer breeze;
In your glance I see
The fragility of a melting snowflake;
In your embrace I feel
The mortality of the autumn leaf;
In your silence I hear
The dirge of the nightingale;
And in your soul I feel
The tranquillity of a rainbow rising above the mist.
