Garden of Delights

Oh sweet garden
of my delights
I caress the freshness
of thy green vines
They take me to the heights
With one glance
Thy moon and stars
Hold me in a trance
Thy wine I taste
It fills me
and brings me joy complete
Aye, thy fruits I find
are ripe and full
bountiful and sweet
The smoothness of
thy valleys
They bring to me
promises of good things
where thy rivers
and green valleys they meet
Of these things my heart
doth sing
I find thy sweet waters
The wells I draw from
Oh come quench my thirst...
I plunge deep!
Thy wild rapids
They encompass me
Oh carry me down
Draw me under
and drown me in thy deeps
I will rise again
to thy sweet garden
of delights...There
will I sleep.
