Two days ago you were lost
And I was sad cause you weren’t here
Now I’m sad cause you’ve left.
It’s too much to take in
Losing you once was hard,
Losing you twice is cruel –
Finding a love has turned me
Inside out and I feel so messed about…
I feel cheated that what
I’ve looked for is here at last
But I can’t reach the candy from the shelf.
I’m trying so hard and reaching
But only reach the clouds…
I want the stars up above
I want them scattered all around
I want the stars in your eyes
Gazing at me
I need your eyes nearby
Somewhere were I can see
That you’re smiling and that
I put that smile there.
There can be no answers
To the questions I have
Spinning around in my head
And my heart is broken in two.
The one who broke it and the
One that can mend it
It’s only you
That I miss and only you
I would choose to stay
On my deserted island
That is my life.
My life….
My life of unrealised dreams
A life of beauty past
A life with you always in it
In my thoughts and in my prayers
In my waking hours when
I’m sleeping. In every yearning
Cry I ever uttered.

I’m suddenly bereft.
Two days ago you were lost
And I was sad cause you weren’t here
Now I’m sad cause you’ve left.
It’s too much to take in
