Topic: Sad Poetry

Contributed By: outsider

The sun spreads its golden fingers of light
Across the naked trees.
The naked branches turn to honey.

The full moon rises to all its glory.
Moonbeams stream through the waves of your hair
Shining silver on the curves of your back.

High tide,
Low tide,
Two bodies mingle
To the motions of the sea.
Waves of emotion crash all around.

Two bodies shrouded in silver and gold,
The fire of the sun and the ice of the moon.
Two bodies explored,
Two minds explode
