Consummation

All through the night, we lie in consumption:
With my mouth, I savour every treasure
You offer, while our veins throb with pleasure,
As we reach sweet, divine consummation.
You press yourself against me in passion
And I accept your body, the pressure
Fills us with ecstasy without measure:
You and I, in bliss without conclusion...
I feel you groaning deeply in ardor,
Lashing us, with love's madd'ning caresses;
Forcing me into you, hungering for
Your sweet, secret flesh and you dark tresses
As we share each other's strength-secretly
You, my passion and I your body so lovely!
O Love,
How my brow begins to soften
And my heart quickens its own pace,
When we make love stretching over time and space:
Let me drink deeply, from your nether cistern!
So endearing are you to me, like a locked garden
I yearn to feel your warm assuring embrace,
Your arms, your breasts and beautiful countenance of grace:
I love you more than myself; you are a sealed fountain!
Many waters cannot quench those fires undying
Nor can floods those fierce flames drown!
Who would dare fight this inferno all-consuming
Which not even the winds can beat down?
Two hearts pure, made one before Heaven's eyes
Are bound together by eternal love's ties!
