An Object of My Disdain
Date: Tuesday, 1st October 2002 @ 02:40:00 PM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry
Contributed By: Jennifer Deanne Dris
It started with one minute
Then grew into a few
Time acting as an evil
Ignoring all the clues
Bombarded with distractions
Another day is stained
Stabbing at my failures
Im an object of disdain
Caught within my mirror
Each corner lined by glass
Ashamed of the reflections
Compiled by my past
I feel my body dwindling
Fading more each night
Why waste a precious effort
On making my life right?
