My name is Melis, how do yoiu do?
I’m really quite vain, so let me introduce
Myself to you.
I’m decent looking and still a youth;
Tits too small, but nice firm bum;
That’s the truth!
I’m a clever girl and slim and tall;
With some good career prospects;
And that’s not all.

When I'm good, I’ve got a lot to give;
But it’s not needed, and I often feel
I don’t want to live..
I’ve cut my arms but don’t do that now;
When I look back I feel ashamed and think:
Silly cow!
But still I feel so empty and like I've built
A wall to shut out life and protect me
From crushing guilt.

I’ve slept around and been called a slut;
Like I have no self respect or pride;
Partly true, but
Sex isn’t the gateway to my heart;
I’m not hung up about it at all;
Just a functional part
That sometimes gives pleasure, though often grief;
Anyway, these days I take little interest;
Mostly a relief.

I know I’m just wandering in the dark;
Aimlessly hoping that I’ll find love;
Missing the mark.
And always I make the same mistakes;
Slide headlong down same old dead ends;
Without brakes.
As helpless as a moth caught in a flame;
Or a groundhog girl, stuck frozen in time;
How lame!
