Find it cryptic amongst the leaves
Beautiful and destructive
And complete of worth.

Singled out and hard for cash
Listen inattentively and smile for me
Fingers through split ends of hair
Vanishing beautifully would never fit me.

Scratch out all the extensive words
Picture perfect because it hurts
Live the life you want to lead
See through all that’s dead to me.

Kiss me softly and take my breath
Stare heatedly and let me be
Pick me up when I can no longer walk
Destroy something beautiful with me.

Take it off of the highest shelf
Dig deep down into the dead earth
