For A Moment Date: Thursday, 1st April 2004 @ 01:34:19 AM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry Contributed By: ginsdance For a moment I have loved you, Yet I've known you my whole life, You were my best-friend Once Upon A Time, But the winds have changed now, And you have changed a lot too, I'm starting to ask myself If I ever really knew you. So I've moved on, I gave you back your ring, I'm trying, so hard, To understand this thing. The fact that I did love you, I know I did for a time, But now the moment's over, And you were never really mine. So I'm sorry if I misled you, I'm sorry for your tears, But most of all I'm sorry For the best-friend who isn't here. I would change it all, If given but once chance, I loved you for a time...
