Baby steps
I pull words, make them convulse and contract,
I mean to extract true essence,
For what seems to be a lapse, in minds focused, towards peaceful acts, peaceful steps
To put the mind at rest,
Is really all we can ask,
In a reality based on uncertainty,
Not to mention all our own accidents,
God wants us to look past our native land,
And spend some time with our fellow man,
But I am free from God’s hand and not quick to make amends,
I’ve pushed it to the limit, no gimmick, and bent
Over backwardness sending olive branches, As God as my witness,
I hold no magic,
But I do know I was blessed for this ancient craft,
I told you, I pull words make them convulse and contract,
Taking baby steps in this delicate soulful protest.
I must break on to the next step,
I will not breakdown like a compound,
my words are heavensent,
While cowards wear false crowns,
I found them coundfounded,
By the sheer power of the compounded,
Calibur of the Excalibur,
Swung when freedom empowered liberty,
found at his finest hour where it seemed creativity had no bounds,
He was found moving motions of matter,
Never organized in such a manner,
Where faith has an element of magic,
Where the hunt, the grind, the tactics,
Has me backing and forth stepping,
Thinking, bracing for any defamation,
Or privledge, or any situation, for that matter,
trying to move on for I know my soul is eternal,
and the next step could be my best.
