I knew it was dangerous,
but I never thought it would be you I'd miss.
I watched you every week,
the trophy I knew you'd seek.
But it all went wrong that night,
and it happened in plain sight.
I tried to get to you,
but the men held me back they wouldn't let me see you.
Saftey first was always your motto.
If only we could have known.
I stand around the track tonight,
I wish you could see it, it's one heck of a sight.
You know your little brothers doing great.
Everybodys telling him it's fate,
but I know better.
Being his big brothers what he's after.
Justin painted your number on his door.
Said you always desearved to soar.
I know your watching over us,
and hate seeing us make all this fuss,
but I wish you could be here tonight.
All the tributes to you what a sight.
I miss you,
we all do.
