A New Year Date: Thursday, 1st January 2004 @ 05:13:27 PM AEST Topic: Sad Poetry Contributed By: TamTam The sparkle in his eye, The sly mischeavious grin, The wonderful and heart warming laugh, All seem to consume me. I cannot help but catch his gaze. The kind that says i love you. I put my hand on his shoulder, As he does mine. His other hand rests on the small of my back. The music is what keeps us in the moment. We sway slowly in the rythm. Our eyes lock, Nothing can break the hold. I never want to leave this place. For i am where i need to be. In a world of love and content. With him by my side, It wont have to end. Then the count down starts, 10.....9.....8.. Nothing but cheers of a new beggining, To a new year fills the room. What ive anticipated all evening has come. Our lips lock into a sweet embrace. This moment will never be forgotten. Its a sweet and memorable start, To a new year.
