Pain Unseen

Look into these eyes that watch the knife
To cut the wrists and end the life
Living each day with a disorder
Sometimes wishing to be immortal
My darkest writings are just mere words
That are kept inside from screams not heard
Reoccured with tears that are forever hidden
Because of the past that's now forbidden
My darkest days are when sorrows show
Self esteem that has dropped so low
You'll never see me shed a tear
Hidden from you is every fear
Look in these eyes that shine like glass
That wish so much to forget the past
These eyes that wish for memories to be erased
To just runaway to a hidden place
I wish to forget the things making me sad
And just forget all the bad times I've had
I wish these tears wouldn't roll down
I can hear them shatter as they hit the ground.
