Look outside, pass the pouring rain
To the city where hope will remain
Sweep away all the sorrow
Watch the sun rise tomorrow
Take a walk through the park
Where you can embark

A new day, a new reason to be
A new way, a new reason to see
Bright lights, starry eyed
No separation, no divide
One together, together as one
Inspiration, forever a vision

Bliss among even the bleak
Among the egotistic, the meek
Protected by pillars of steel
A place full of boundless zeal
The center of the world
Where all contraries swirl

Look outside, pass the pouring rain
To the city where hope will remain [comments] => 1 [counter] => 213 [topic] => 55 [informant] => Schnikes13 [notes] => [ihome] => 0 [alanguage] => english [acomm] => 0 [haspoll] => 0 [pollID] => 0 [score] => 0 [ratings] => 0 [editpoem] => 1 [associated] => [topicname] => dedicatedpoems ) Your Poetry Dot Com - New York Bound
